1300 years ago, Ayurvedic masters in India experimented with herbs that help to regenerate the skin. They developed a recipe that was very effective: medicinal herbs such as saffron flower, blue lotus, vetiver, red sandalwood and 22 other rare ingredients were boiled in sesame oil and distilled to create an elixir. The users found it so good that they believed that the two Ayurveda gods Nasatya and Dasara had brought the divine elixir to the people.

The key ingredient in this potent elixir is saffron, which is said to have the ability to transform skin tone and complexion. Floral elements such as lotus pollen and neelkamal (blue lotus) give it important herbal active ingredients. Cooling and soothing ingredients like Lal Chandan (Red Sandalwood), Khus (Vetiver) and Bael Fruit help your skin fight pollution. The essence of plants such as java fig, mahua and licorice treats superficial problems such as discoloration and age spots. The formulation is mentioned in the ancient Ayurvedic texts such as Ashtanga Hridayam and Bhaisajya Ratnavalli around 700 AD.

This rare formula, passed down through generations, is a natural and effective way to keep your facial skin healthy and glowing. The elixir works best if you use it in the evening before bed. Put a few drops in your palm and warm the oil by rubbing your palms together. Massage gently onto your face and neck. You can leave it on overnight or take it off your face after 2 hours. The scent takes some getting used to because it is completely natural and odorless. After 30 days of regular use you will notice the improvements on your face.

The elixir is produced in the traditional way by our partner in India and bottled in an integrative workshop in Gütersloh. A great team of women led by Karin & Hedwig lovingly takes care of the bottling and packaging.
